Providing the best possible service for
your dog!
At Friendly Pets Dog Grooming we want to
provide you and your pet with the best
possible service. Each appointment is
booked on an hourly basis. Most small
dogs receive a fluffy cut that requires
hand scissoring. This again depends on
the condition of our pets coat. Large
dogs are per hour and we will give an
estimate of time and call you if we find
that more time is required. Please
contact us
for our hourly grooming rates and to
book an appointment time.
Booking an appointment is required for
your pet. We do not charge for missed
appointments but do appreciate a call
you are unable to make an appointment or
you need to cancel. We do not believe in
booking all appointments at the same
hour and then kenneling your pet all day
until it is their appointment time. For
your dogs comfort we would prefer that
you pick up your pet shortly after each
appointment. Just let us know what time
your pet will be picked up.
Every product we use is a professional
quality and is intended for use on
animals. Not all pets enjoy the grooming
experience and are easily stressed. We
will take time with your pet to ensure
that they are handled as gently as
possible to relieve any anxiety they may
have. We have an open concept here and
do not groom behind closed doors.
We will not turn your pet away if it's
coat is not matt-free. We will try our
best to de-matt your pet without causing
any discomfort. We will also try to help
you keep your pets coat in matt-free
condition for their next appointment.
We strive to meet every customers
individual tastes. If you are not happy
with your pets cut let us know as we are
the only ones who can do something about
it. If you are happy with our service
book another appointment and tell your
friends.

Why groom your dog?
Regular grooming helps keep your pet
looking and feeling good. Every time
your pet is brushed, loose hair and
debris are removed from the coat,
leaving it cleaner and healthier.
Brushing also reduces the risk of
matting. Aside from being unattractive,
a matted coat limits the skin’s exposure
to air, making your pet more prone to
skin infections. It is also important to
de-matt a pet before bathing — once a
matt gets wet, it will become tighter
and harder to remove. |
You and your pet will both appreciate
the quality time that you spend together
during grooming sessions. In addition to
strengthening the bond between the two
of you, frequent grooming provides an
ideal opportunity to examine your pet
on a regular basis. That way you can
spot any signs of illness early, when
problems usually are easier to treat.
Introduce your pet to the idea of
grooming early in life. Puppies will
quickly become acclimated to a grooming
routine. However, it’s never too late to
start a grooming program, even if your
pet is a senior citizen. If your pet is
hesitant to accept grooming at first,
don’t get discouraged; keep your
grooming sessions
